The How Work Works Project is a youth led research project designed to explore employment, workforce development, and industry growth in the Alpine, Indigo, Towong, and Wodonga regions.
Facilitated by former Foundation for Young Australians Director Jeanette Pope, the project recruited five young interns. The interns have been trained in research and interview skills and will be consulting with key local employers and young people.
The findings of this youth-led research will be written up as a report and presented by the interns at a government round table in October.
The North East Local Learning and Employment Network’s How Work Works project follows the successful pilot of How Work Works in Central Victoria. A collaboration between North Central LLEN, Central Ranges LLEN, and Campaspe Cohuna LLEN, entitled the Loddon-Campaspe How Work Works Report.
